The Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Interstate Council (MIC), has released its Draft 2021-2024 Superior Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for public comment.
The Draft TIP lists all transportation projects in the greater Superior, WI area that are recommended by the MIC Board to receive federal transportation funds for FY 2021-2024.
Public comments are being taken by Sheldon Johnson until September 18, 2020 on the Draft TIP and the proposed projects. To request a hard copy of the document, contact Sheldon Johnson (contact info below).
- Comments will also be taken at the virtual TIP Open House on Wednesday, September 16 from 12 noon-1:00 pm. Members of the public are invited to participate (online or by phone) to learn more about proposed projects, ask questions and give comments.
The Draft TIP, along with all comments received, will be considered for final approval at the MIC Board meeting on October 21, 2020. This meeting is open to the public and will be the final opportunity for public comments to be given on the proposed projects.
