Activities of the MIC are overseen by the Policy Board, which is comprised of 18 elected officials and citizens (nine from Minnesota and nine from Wisconsin) who represent all local units of government within the planning area.
The Board meets at 6:00 pm on the third Wednesday of the month (except July and November, when no meetings are held, and December, when the Board meets on the second Wednesday), in locations that alternate between Duluth and Superior. All meetings are open to the public.
