DESCRIPTION:The Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Interstate Council (MIC)\, located at the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission in Duluth\, has prepared a Draft Fiscal Year 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Duluth Metropolitan Area. The Draft TIP lists all transportation projects in the greater metropolitan area that are recommended by the MIC Board to receive federal transportation funds for FY 2021-2024. \nClick to view the Draft TIP page and document. \nPublic comments are being taken by James Gittemeier until June 19\, 2020 on the Draft TIP and the proposed projects. To request a hard copy of the document\, contact James Gittemeier (contact info below). \nProjects will be reviewed and comments will also be taken at the three virtual TIP Open House sessions scheduled for Thursday\, June 11 at 9-10:00 am\, 12 noon-1:00 pm\, and 4-5:00 pm. \nThe Draft TIP\, along with all comments received\, will be considered for final approval at the MIC Board meeting on June 24\, 2020.  This meeting is open to the public and will be the final opportunity for public comments to be given on the proposed projects.

DESCRIPTION:The Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Interstate Council (MIC)\, has released its Draft 2021-2024 Superior Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for public comment. \nThe Draft TIP lists all transportation projects in the greater Superior\, WI area that are recommended by the MIC Board to receive federal transportation funds for FY 2021-2024. \nPublic comments are being taken by Sheldon Johnson until September 18\, 2020 on the Draft TIP and the proposed projects. To request a hard copy of the document\, contact Sheldon Johnson (contact info below). \n\nComments will also be taken at the virtual TIP Open House on Wednesday\, September 16 from 12 noon-1:00 pm.  Members of the public are invited to participate (online or by phone) to learn more about proposed projects\, ask questions and give comments.\n\nThe Draft TIP\, along with all comments received\, will be considered for final approval at the MIC Board meeting on October 21\, 2020.  This meeting is open to the public and will be the final opportunity for public comments to be given on the proposed projects. \nClick to view the Draft TIP page and draft TIP document.
